The Obama Facts You Probably Wanna Know Whether You Are a Democrat or Republican

I have been listening to a lot of back and forth about the election and whether Obama has been a good president. While I am not here to get in to the partisan debate around better or worse, I decided to put together a list of concrete facts that people can use on their own to interpret.

Obama made 508 campaign promises during his race for president. 159 of those promises have been completed 54 have been flat out broken and the rest are in the works.

Here are my top 10 campaign promises kept I compiled from PolitiFact.com:

1. Kill Osama Bin Laden
2. End the war in Iraq and bring the Troops home
3. Sign a universal healthcare bill
4. Repeal Don't ask Don't Tell
5. Require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions
6. Create 5 million green jobs (on track)
7. End the use of torture in the military
8. Reform corporate financial regulations
9. Establish a credit card bill of rights
10. Require children have health insurance coverage

In my opinion, this is a pretty compelling list and one that will come up during the next year. I am sure Republicans are studying pretty hard getting ready for the debates.
